National KidsDay
National KidsDay is observed the first Sunday each August. It’s a day to celebrate and honor children through the gift of meaningful time.
Boys & Girls Clubs of America, in collaboration with KidsPeace, and other leading youth-serving, community and educational organizations, is spearheading National KidsDay. Additional supporters helping to raise awareness and participation for National KidsDay are American Children’s Museums, Connect for Kids, Covering Kids, KidsPeace, JuniorNet, National Association of Elementary School Principals, National Council of Missing & Exploited Children, National 4-H Council, The National Parenting Center, National PTA, Search Institute, the WNBA and YMCA of the USA.
