Their new expansion/renovation is called "The Santiago Calatrava-Designed Quadracci Pavilion." The addition to the art musuem first opened to the public May 4, 2001. It inlcludes a 90-foot high glass-walled reception room with the Burke Brise Soleil, a moveable exterior sunscreen.
